The Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee is a network of worker organizers that trains and supports workers in the early stages of organizing their workplaces.
EWOC's free 4-week Fundamentals of Organizing training series is a great way to practice core skills such as mapping and charting, building an organizing committee, uniting with coworkers over common concerns, rising above fear and apathy, and escalating actions and demands.
The series is regularly held online, and the next series is from September 8-September 29, on Mondays from 8:00-9:30 pm (EST)/ 5:00-6:30 PM (PST). The following series after that will be on Sundays in November.

Organizer Training Series Outline
Week 1: September 8
Developing Leadership
Practice how to use a chart, assess coworkers, and build a team to organize with. The organizing committee is the backbone of any organizing effort, and the chart is the best way to track your project.
Week 2: September 15
The Organizing Conversation
Practice how to talk with coworkers, listen to coworkers, and learn what they care about, how to assess them, and ultimately how to get them to support the campaign, plus the importance of socializing before you organize, and getting to know your coworkers.
Week 3: September 22
The Arc of the Campaign
Learn the steps an organizing committee takes together to build their campaign and how to choose demands that are popular, targets that have decision making power, and escalation tactics that build confidence among your coworkers.
Week 4: September 29
Inoculation and the Boss Campaign
Learn how to prepare yourself and your coworkers for the bosses' counter campaign, why inoculation is critical, and how to stick to your positive message, not the bosses' fear tactics.
